For Body (Products for purchase in the world that I like enough to represent)…

For feet: Barefoot Science insoles partially simulate the experience of walking on diverse, natural terrain with a prominence in the arch of the foot. It’s like getting a foot massage in every step. The firmness/density can be changed as you get used to it. These got me walking again when I first succumbed to plantar fasciitis. I’m fond of the full version unless trying to fit shoes that are on the tighter side. I encourage you to check out other options too, and I’m happy to show you my barefoot science insoles as well as a way to achieve similar effects with a very small ball.

For Pain: my mom’s favourite topical so far: KaLaya. RMT standards of practice exclude application of active ingredients, but this is what I use on myself for aches and pains. I’m also fond of a liniment from my Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner called Zheng Gu Shui.

For hunger: superfood meal supplements/snacks for emergencies (eg power failues), and when there’s no time to cook or no time to eat: I love Purium dehydrated super foods. Now almost entirely compostable packaging and 2 year shelf life. My favourite is the Power Shake in apple berry flavour. I’m also fond of Apothecherry tart cherry syrup to assist with length and duration of sleep, the various greens blends, Bio Fruit, Epigenius (not just for kids!), and MVP protein. Warning: these products are marketed for weightloss that may not be suitable or safe for everyone; I use them more as convenient, healthy snacks especially when travelling or camping and it’s hard to eat as I’d like.
